Welcome to The FunnClubb, where we combine professional football coaching with an energetic, positive environment to help your child develop their skills, build confidence, and grow a lifelong love for the beautiful game! Our club operates under a structured, professional framework designed to maximize your child’s development while keeping administrative and payment systems completely seamless and hassle-free for parents.

To maintain the absolute highest standards of coaching, secure premium training facilities, and provide top-tier training equipment, all members must adhere to the official terms, conditions, and operational policies outlined below. By booking a trial or enrolling your child into a full subscription, you are officially agreeing to these terms.

📋 What's Included in Your Annual Subscription

Upon completing your 4-week trial period, your child will automatically transition into our comprehensive, hassle-free annual membership program. Here is exactly what is included in your active subscription:

  • 36 Weeks of Classes: Our annual curriculum is meticulously mapped out across 36 weeks of high-energy, fun-filled football classes. These sessions are expertly designed to scale with your child's age group and skill level.
  • The Grand Finale (Family Fun Day): The 36-week curriculum may conclude with our legendary, high-profile Family Fun Day! This special event serves as your child's 36th class of the year. It features interactive games, certificates, and end-of-term celebrations. Best of all, this grand event is provided completely free of charge as a fundamental part of your ongoing subscription.
  • Predictable Year-Round Budgeting: Your coaching subscription is structurally designed as a full 12-month annual membership commitment. To make household budgeting as straightforward and painless as possible, the total annual cost of the program is spread completely evenly across 12 monthly payments. Payments are taken all year round—including during the summer break and holiday periods when active coaching sessions are not running. Maintaining your payments uninterrupted over the summer is the sole method used to legally protect and secure your child's highly sought-after place for the following school term.
  • The "One-Class Buffer" Policy: Our annual schedule includes up to 37 scheduled sessions per calendar year, giving you built-in protection. This means your subscription includes a structural "buffer class." If we are forced to cancel a single session throughout the year due to unforeseen venue closures or severe facility issues, it will not be refunded, credited, or replaced, as your baseline monthly subscription explicitly covers the delivery of 36 core sessions.
  • VIP Priority Booking Status: Active, fully paid members are automatically granted exclusive priority booking status. This means your child is guaranteed the right of first refusal to secure their spot for upcoming terms, advanced progression squads, or highly popular seasonal holiday camps before placements are opened up to the general public.

💳 Payment Schedule & Fees

Our financial operations are automated via secure payment processors to ensure our coaches can focus entirely on what they do best: training your children. Please review the payment timelines below carefully:

  • One-Time Mandatory Setup Fee (£40): Upon the official confirmation and launch of your full monthly subscription, a mandatory £40 setup fee is due. This fee covers backend system registration, player insurance onboarding, and essential administrative costs. Furthermore, this fee acts as an essential buffer to offset immediate operational losses and coach staffing overheads incurred by the club when a member chooses to cancel their subscription.
  • New Member Billing Launch: Following the successful conclusion of your 4-week paid trial package, your recurring monthly subscription will officially go live on the 1st day of the following calendar month.
  • Pro-Rated First Payment Rule: If your child completes their 4-week trial and transitions into a full membership part-way through a month, your initial payment will consist of a customized, pro-rated covering payment. This is calculated precisely at £10 per remaining class left within that specific starting month, aligning your account smoothly for the next automated payment cycle.
  • Existing Member Billing: For all active, ongoing members, your fixed monthly subscription payment will be automatically processed on the 1st of each calendar month without exception.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: To ensure maximum security, we accept automated direct debits as well as major credit/debit card transactions processed through our secure portal. Our club operates strictly on a rolling 12-month payment cycle. All listed prices are fully inclusive of statutory VAT.

❌ Cancellation Policy

We understand that family circumstances, schedules, or children's hobbies can change over time. While we are sad to see any player leave, we maintain a highly direct and transparent cancellation policy that must be followed explicitly.

  • Immediate Notification Protocol: To cancel your child's membership, you must formally notify our administrative office by sending an explicit written request via email to: hello@thefunnclubb.co.uk
  • Strict No Future-Dating Rule: We process all incoming cancellation requests straight away upon receipt of your request. We operate an automated system that is strictly unable to post-date cancellations, pause subscriptions, or schedule account closures for a specific date in the future. The moment you instruct our team to cancel, your subscription is terminated immediately, and absolutely no further monthly payments will be taken.
  • Immediate Removal from Registers: Because cancellation takes effect the exact second it is requested, parents and children cannot continue attending classes once a cancellation has been submitted. Your child’s name will be instantly removed from the active class register right then and there, and their spot will be immediately released to the next family waiting on our queue. We cannot offer "grace periods" to finish out a month once a cancellation email is sent.

Summer Break Policy Options

When the academic year concludes, parents have two distinct paths regarding their membership over the summer months:

  • Continuous Subscription: Parents who keep their subscription active over the summer will be automatically enrolled for the new term starting in September, guaranteeing their child's place.
  • Cancelling for Summer: You may choose to cancel your subscription for the summer break. If you do this, you will need to manually re-enrol for the September term, and placement will be strictly subject to public availability.

🌧️ Weather & Class Cancellation Policy

While we always aim to run every single session rain or shine, child safety remains the ultimate deciding factor in all operational choices.

  • The 30-Minute Notification Window: In the rare event of an emergency class cancellation (such as extreme weather), we will notify all affected parents via direct email and SMS broadcast. This notification will be sent out no more than 30 minutes before your class is officially scheduled to begin. Please ensure your contact details remain completely up to date on your portal.
  • Refund & Replacement Protocols:
  • Your subscription includes a buffer of one extra class per year. Therefore, the first class cancelled by us in a year will not be refunded or replaced.
  • If we cancel any subsequent classes, you will be offered a refund, a replacement session, or the class will be postponed. We will communicate the exact options directly to you via email.

🥾 Trials & Waiting List Guidelines

To manage our highly sought-after spaces fairly and ensure a smooth enrollment process, parents must abide by the following strict guidelines regarding trials and waiting lists:

  • Strict Limit on Trials: New members can book our 4-week trial package. This consists of 4 consecutive classes priced at £10 per class (£40 total) to experience the FunnClubb magic before committing to a full subscription. We do not offer single sessions or alternative trial lengths.
  • No Repeat Trials: If your child has attended a FunnClubb session before, you must book them in for the full term subscription. Do not attempt to book a trial for a child who has already previously attended a FunnClubb class.
  • No Multiple Trial Bookings: Parents are strictly prohibited from booking multiple trial blocks for the same child.
  • Waiting List Restrictions: If your child has never attended a FunnClubb class, please do not sign them up to two or more waiting lists simultaneously. This distorts true class availability and holds up spaces for other families.
  • Rescheduling a Trial: If for any reason you are completely unable to attend your assigned trial date, please send an immediate email to hello@thefunnclubb.co.uk to have your trial start date shifted to the following consecutive week.
  • Post-Trial Onboarding Window: After your child’s trial concludes, you will receive an automated email within less than 24 hours containing a secure link to book your child into the remaining classes for the term. Please ensure the email address you have provided to our portal is completely accurate and spelled correctly; otherwise, you will not receive this critical window to secure your child’s place before it is offered to the waiting list.

⚖️ Legal Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • 1.1 “Carer” means the person or persons who attends the course or part of it with the child.
  • 1.2 “Parent” means a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for the payment of fees and who is the contracting party to this contract.

  • 1.3 “The FunnClubb” means The FunnClubb LTD, with whom you have entered into this agreement.

  • 1.4 “Course” means The FunnClubb course you are attending.

  • 1.5 “Booking Form” means the form relating to booking or rebooking of the child on the course.

  • 1.6 “Fee” means the monetary cost per course as specified on the booking form.

  • 1.7 “Coach” means the individual(s), employed by The FunnClubb to teach the Course. Whilst every effort will be taken to maintain the consistency of the Coaches during the Course, The FunnClubb retain the right to change the coaching staff where necessary.

  • 1.8 “Venues” or “Premises” means the premises where the course takes place.

  • 1.9 “Pupil” means the child attending the course, whose details are specified by the Parent or carer on the booking form.
  • 1.10 “Terms” means the terms and conditions set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by The FunnClubb and the parent.

2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

  • 2.1 All agreements relating to the teaching of the course by The FunnClubb to the child are subject to these terms to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

  • 2.2 No variation or addition to the terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing by The FunnClubb and the parent.

  • 2.3 The terms shall be deemed to have been accepted by the parent upon payment of the fee by or on behalf of the Parent. Payment by the carer shall be deemed to have been made on behalf of the parent.

3. Fee and Payment / Refunds

  • 3.1 The parent shall pay the course fee to The FunnClubb prior to the Pupil attending the course.
  • 3.2 The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances except with the prior agreement of The FunnClubb, unless the Pupil has attended the first class of their course and given notice that they will not be continuing to attend classes within 24 hours of attending the first class, in which case the course fees will be refunded in full.
  • 3.3 If classes are cancelled due to an “Act of God” (extreme weather conditions, earthquakes etc), strikes, terrorist activity or where local authorities/public guidance suspend for health or other reasons, then no refunds will be given and it will not be permitted to defer classes. After the 1st cancelled session due to an "Act of God", any other cancelled class in the term due to this reason, will be refunded. However, 4.5% + 20p of the total amount of the refund will be deducted from the fee you paid to cover card processing & Stripe transaction fees.
  • 3.4 If you cancel your class before the new term begins, you will receive a refund for your term payments. However, 4.5% + 20p of the total amount will be deducted from the fee you paid to cover card processing & Stripe fees.
  • 3.5 If you miss a class, we do not offer refunds or makeup classes. In the case of documented long-term illness, we will request a verified doctor's note and provide you with a pro-rata refund. However, 4.5% + 20p of the total amount will be deducted from the fee you paid to cover card processing & Stripe fees.

4. Cancellation

  • 4.1 The FunnClubb may cancel this contract at any time before the Pupil commences the course for any reason whatsoever. The FunnClubb shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from such cancellation.
  • 4.2 In the event of cancellation by The FunnClubb prior to commencement of the course by the pupil, The FunnClubb will refund any fees for outstanding classes.
  • 4.3 The Parent understands that sessions are to be used consecutively.

5. Parents Responsibility

The Parent warrants and represents that:

  • 5.1 The information set out in the registration and booking forms is correct (whether or not completed and/or signed by the parent) and that The FunnClubb will be notified of any change in such information immediately.
  • 5.2 When attending the course neither the pupil nor the Parent/carer will be suffering from any illness, disease or anything similar thereto.

6. Discipline

  • 6.1 In the event that The FunnClubb believes the pupil or carer’s behaviour is unacceptable, The FunnClubb shall be within their rights to exclude the pupil and carer (or either of them) for a period of time deemed fit.
  • 6.2 The standard of behaviour regarded as unacceptable will be determined exclusively by The FunnClubb.

7. Exclusion of Liability

  • 7.1 Except in the case of fraud and subject to clause 7.4 below, The FunnClubb, its coaches, servants, employees or agents accept no responsibility under any circumstances for any loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, expense or delay suffered or incurred by the Parent, the Pupil or any other party arising directly or indirectly or in any way connected with the attendance of the pupil at the course (or any part of it) or any other act or omission on the part of The FunnClubb or agents even if such act or omission is negligent.
  • 7.2 The Parent agrees (for and on behalf of the Parent and the Pupil) that any claim by the Parent or the Pupil against The FunnClubb or any coach, employee or agent of The FunnClubb must be brought within 60 days of the event that gave rise to such claim; any claim made thereafter shall be permanently time-barred.
  • 7.3 The Parent acknowledges, warrants and undertakes (for and on behalf of the Parent and the Pupil) that the maximum aggregate liability of The FunnClubb to the Parent and/or Pupil under these terms shall not exceed the Fee paid.
  • 7.4 All warranties and conditions whether implied by statute or otherwise are excluded from this contract provided that nothing in this contract shall restrict or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of The FunnClubb, its coaches, servants, employees or agents or affects the statutory rights of the parent or pupil.

8. General Legal Provisions

  • 8.1 Any notices to be sent by either party to the other shall be sent by pre-paid recorded delivery or registered post or hand delivered to the address of the relevant party and shall be deemed to have been received by the addressee within 48 hours of posting if sent by post and immediately if hand delivered. The FunnClubb do not accept service of legal documents by email or fax.
  • 8.2 The failure by either party to enforce at any time or for any period any one or more of the obligations arising under these Terms shall not be a waiver of them or of the right at any time subsequently to enforce all the obligations arising under these Terms.
  • 8.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties hereto and supersede all prior agreements and understandings between the parties. It is agreed that no statement, promise or inducement whether written or oral alleged to have been made by either party and which is not contained herein shall be binding or form part of this agreement.
  • 8.4 This entire agreement shall be governed exclusively by English Law and shall fall under sole English jurisdiction.

💬 Operational Communications & Digital Updates

  • 9.1 Please ensure the profile details you have provided for your child within our booking database are completely accurate.
  • 9.2 Please ensure your own email address and emergency phone contact details are correct. If you need any contact fields altered, please email hello@thefunnclubb.co.uk immediately.
  • 9.3 Regular updates, schedule notices, and emergency details will be sent via email. If you do not receive these updates, you may have entered an incorrect email address on Class4Kids or the emails are being routed into your junk/spam folder. In the case of the latter, please locate an email from us in your Junk folder, right-click it, and select Junk > Never Block Sender to whitelist our communication domain.

📞 Feedback and Complaints Protocol

  • 10.1 We take all community feedback and complaints very seriously. If you wish to lodge a formal complaint, please make this in writing directly to hello@thefunnclubb.co.uk. Although you are welcome to speak to your child’s coach on the pitch about minor daily concerns, if you wish to have a formal complaint investigated and tracked, it MUST be submitted via written email.
  • 10.2 Our administrative desk will log your complaint and get back to you with an initial response within 7 days. We aim to fully investigate and resolve your complaint within 14 days. However, complex matters may take longer depending on the specific operational issue raised. We review complaints transparently on a case-by-case basis and will agree upon extended timescales with you if a resolution cannot be reached within the initial 14 days.

  • Safety and Security: Your child's safety is our top priority. We are fully insured and all our coaches are DBS checked.
  • Inclusivity: FunnClubb is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children, regardless of skill level or background. We encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for sport. ❤️
